?4u, thank you for doing a thankless job. We need people like you out there to watch over us. Maybe, paramedics are angels?

Yes, I always help them when I feel led to do so...I think that God uses angels kinda like a test..You know, will you help them or pass by? That's what I think anyways.

Every day. I am a Paramedic. Most of the people I transport I don't know. I meet new people every day.
I believe in the angels among us.
I know that we aren't angels from God. We are mortal people. Being in Emergency Medical Services is a great thing, and not every one can do it but people don't appreciate what you do for them. I mean you just saved their life and you don't even get so much as a simple "Thank You"

Of course you help. It can be done in such minute ways to you but mean alot to others. We have a store that requires a quarter to get a shopping cart. When you're done you just give it to whoever is coming in the store. Simple and usually appreciated.

What were you going to do with a quarter anyway? There's a bunch of other ideas that everyone has and I believe they are all good. Just don't let the left hand know what the right is doing or you'll start shaking your own hand congratulating yourself.

One month ago I helped someone move because they were moving and didn't have a vehicle to get the things from one place to another. I did not know this person and met them on a train.

I had the day off and a Dodge Ram - so it was a good deed. One of the best I've done.

I try to do one good deed a week...maybe thats too little - but it is something.

of course Paramedics are angels so are police officers, fire fighters, military personnel, doctors, nurses, first responders

there are millions of angels and they are angels for 1 reason
they put their lives on the line every min of every day for a stranger
doctors, nurses,EMT everyone in the medical profession can get ill from a stranger when i was a nurse one of my friends got stuck by a needle in a mans shoe that scared us because AIDS was just coming out

ANYONE how volunteers their time, money,LIFE for a stranger is an angel
yes most of the people i mentioned get paid BUT THEY MADE THE CHOICE TO PUT them selves in DANGER on a REGULAR BASIS for strangers

and yes as a vol. fire person /first responder/fire police i helped alot of strangers

This is the best feeling in the world.
You help people but you leave before they even have time to thank you.
Or you help them but they have no idea who you are.

I did a lot of good actions in my life and the best ones were the unrewarded ones. The silent ones, the one nobody knows about, just you and the person you helped.

I see "heroes" getting medals, recognition, awards, newspapers articles about what they did...I do not envy them: those are just media or politics.

Going out of your way to help others without any need for thanks or acknowledgment is the best feeling in the world (that is why you do not need thanks and acknowlegment...).

Yes. Two weeks ago, I stopped to get gas after work. It was a truck stop/restaurant. These two drunk ladies had been stranded there by their men. So I gave them a ride home. Two drunk ladies, a truck stop, 2:30am.......not the safest scenario.
I've also been helped by a stranger. And I truly believe the guy was an angel.

All the time. It is so hard for me to pass by someone in need. I never heard that about the angels.....interesting.
