Why is it that on the Cops TV programme almost all the offenders seem to be black? Is this reality in US or is it just editorial policy on behalf of the programme makers...it makes a bad impression and can't create good role models for black youths in America or indeed any black kids watching. I'm from UK

Much would depend on where it was being filmed that particular week and the demographics of the area. Seems like most of the time I see them, they are arresting what might be termed as " white trailer trash".

In reality, it takes many hours of editing and going on calls to get enough for one segment so getting an " equal time" for every race is probably not possible.

Heck in my town they would have had to film for months to get enough for one night. Then it would be " white trailer trash"

I expect there is a greater percentage of offenders in certain racial groups, in certain areas. I'm sure they dont angle the show, to their advantage.

because of the very fact fact has incredibly drama in it. fantastically circumstances as quickly as you watch fact television shows some subjects may well be replaced because of the very fact there's now not adequate drama or exciting ideas with the individuals.
