Michigan has more money to pay a basketball coach than West Virginia does, plays in a building which sells out every game as opposed to Morgantown where only the best Big East teams mean a sellout, and he'll get more attention. Look for Michigan to be a Big Ten threat within two or three years with Belein at the helm.

The university of Michigan has the better chance of competing for a national championship on a yearly basis.
1. higher profile school, 2. larger recruiting base, 3. more $$
4. largest alumni association in the world, 5. able to recruit and land more blue chip athletes nationaly, 6. more div-1 players to choose from in the Detroit, Flint, and Saginaw area than the state of West Virginia. You also have to understand that UM is a bigger and better job than UWV plain and simple, and this would be Belein's final step up the college coaching ladder.
