First of all you cannot feel G-d as He is not tangable. You can only feel His presence. The same applies to any emotional feeling, love, hate, sorrow, pain, grief, loneliness, gratitude,etc.
I know I did not answer your question the way you wanted but this has been my personal experience..
You can only feel something which you can touch. If your emotions are strong enough such as I described above then a person may say the following.
My pain, love, hate,sorrow, grief are so strong it feel "as if" I can touch it. (although I have never hated, I might have disliked someone, or something but hate is a very strong word).
I am a religious, and emotional person who has expressed myself this way. Sometimes I feel so lonely, the pain is so great, I can almost touch it. Yes I do feel Gods presence, many times so strongly inside of me, but I was never able to actually touch it.

I would like to tell you that nothing is there to feel other than God.
God is the only one who can feel anything other than us, because God will made the human being to feel anything but dont feel other than God.

The term feeling can be used in a variety of ways.
By feeling, we can also refer to sensory experiences that our bodies provide. I wouldn't know how to touch, taste, smell, etc. a god.
Sometimes people use the term "feel" when they could also use the term "think".
