Have a 99 Pontiac t/a and I just did the T56trans now the speedo and cruise don't work? Help? Sensor?Did it?

The sensor on the trans is a magnetic pickup, so it doesn't spin... and it is plugged in... and I replaced it? Trouble light says it has power? I am perplexed? Service engine soon light is on as well... oh yeah, the odometer and trip are not working as well as the speedo??? Help!!!

Make sure the spedo sending unit is plugged in. Also it has to turn, try the sender out of the old transmission.
