It is but I find aside from the guys that are taken (barring a few) they will still try stuff to see where I stand. I have to admit, there's some of them I do the same to but there's other I can't see as anything other than a friend. (you know, like you have brother-sister relationships and that would be creepy.)

I mean, you can't be more than friends with all the girls you work with so you'd have to be just friends with some. (Even though I'm sure you test the waters, that's human nature I've come to gather)

So, yes if you're willing to accept that no line crossing will happen.

i have a few really good male friends and it has never and never will be an intimate relationship.
one of these guys is really really good looking, i can see this and appreciate the fact but personally i just don't find him attractive in that way. he is a good friend and i love spending time with him but something just doesn't click. he has no sexual attraction to me and consequently we have had10 years of great friendship and good laughs. his long term girlfriend took a long time to come to terms with our friendship but she has now realised that i am not a threat and we now get on well.
i have a good group of male friends and the friendship is stronger because there is no jealousy or will they won't they sexual tension.
my boyfriend loves the fact that i have lots of male friends cos it means he doesn't always have to do stuff like move furniture and fix my car for me :-)

YOU JUST NAILED your hammer to ur head!! ?? s'at right? you basically answered your own question! REPORT! REPORT! S'AT LEGAL??

ko, it is.. you cannot have a friend who is a female cuz.. you do not respect the FACT that we are smart and NOT always just emotional, so I am gonna go out on a REPORT limb and guess YOU are a person who's brain has not fully developed, and THAT age would actually be, unfortunately, 26 YEARS OLD! geta grip, its all down hill from here.

You will probably get your peepee whacked for the F**K comment, I hope not.

I, frankly, don't know how it is to be done. First they want commitment and then when they spy greener grass, its lets be friends. If I had kept them all I would probably have about 10,000 friends. Granted if it is understood in the beginning that friends is it, then ok.

Sorry, friend, I can't correct you. You are right.

Well said Darren I agree with you....when you get over that puberty bit you can find lots of girl friends....some of my best friends are women, they are the ones that remember your Birthday etc and actually keep in touch when you move away...

If a girl is willing to be at my disposal for sexual gratification, I have no problem being her friend.
All of these girls that say, "it's so much easier to hang out with guys", or "most of my friends are guys", it's because your good looking and the guys let you hang around because they want to get in your pants. Seriously. That is the ONLY reason they hang around with you.

I have plenty of friends that are men and we get on great. Perhaps you're not mature or broadened enough to have respect for women without thinking of them as objects you want to get off with.

Well, obviously, you don't know how to set limits.

It's very possible - and quite common - for a girl & guy to be just friends. But it takes work on both of their behalves to keep it that way.

its possible, all my friends are guys. boys are better at being friends. girls are filled w/drama and backstabbing (sorry ladies, i mean no disrespect). there's been one really good friend and we refer to each other as brother and sister, we grew up together. there might have been a little crush but the friend is better than a relationship.
