No because he has never failed a drug test yet. None of those 3 have. He was being honest which is a good thing.

Regardless of admitting to smoking marijuana, we have had our dear former President Clinton admit to smoking it. I don't think that made him a bad guy. Johnson is a Hall of Famer (barring injury) and he hasn't even touched the field yet. He is that clear of a prospect. Expect Johnson to go top five. He would be the first pick this year, had the Raiders drafted Leinart last year.

No, he's not Randy Moss. Remember when 17 teams passed on him because of his drug use? Johnson is the best athlete in the draft, and since he admitted to smoking, it won't hurt his status. A former GM said he'd rather have the kid who did it and admitted it, than the kid who did it and hid it...cough, cough Ricky Williams.

Nope. But let's hope that he doesn't go to the Raiders, or Randy Moss will try to get him to smoke some of that California Chronic with him. And he can't be a Falcon either, we don't need Michael Vick inviting Calvin Johnson to one of his famous Ron Mexico Bong Parties.

I sure hope so, the panthers could slide up and grab him by dealing Jenkins to somebody. But seriously that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. If you have heard this guy talk he is a low key, nice kid. He ain't no pacman. So he smoked some weed and had the balls to admit to it. And so did 60-70 percent of the population of the US. Hell I bet most of the coaches, owners, and agents have at some point. It is a stupid point, and pretty sorry for a team to leak stuff they were told in confidence.
And to all the health problems idiots, please name one person who has died or become chronically ill from marijuana abuse. And then I could name you hundreds of thousands who have died from alcohol and tobacco abuse. So hop down off the soap box and put down the 1950's Health class textbook. Weed is not as harmful as a redneck on his 11th beer.

No, he won't drop out of the top 10 because he's so good. Will it affect them? Probably not anytime soon but it can lead to health problems and in the future there may be all sorts of problems. But will he fall? No, because the teams want talent.

No, because he admitted to using in the PAST! As long as he tested negative at the combine, all will be forgotten. Besides if he was at risk to use again, he would never had admitted it, as to never bring attention to himself reguarding that topic. He still is a top 5 pick!

I think it won't change his pick. He said it was olny a one time thing and that he was expirementing with it. i still think he is by far the best payer in the draft. He still will be drafted 2nd to detroit which will have them chose a WR as their 1st round pick 4 out of the past 5 years.

The answer to your question is yes, drug use has hurt Calvin.
Imagine how much better he could be if he didn't do drugs.
200 carcinogens and over 40 unidentified toxins.
Will he drop out of the top 10?
Joe Montana with his cocaine problem didn't drop from the top 10.
