He hasn't pitched in the bigs since '05 with Tampa Bay. Nomo earned over 34 million during his major league career, plus I-don't-know-how many yen when he pitched in Japan. I imagine hes at home(where ever that may be), counting his money.

He never really recovered fully from his shoulder surgery in '03. Last think I can find is that in '06, he pitched one game for the Charlotte Knights. Since he's 38 years old, he's probably retired.
