Anyone who actually plays hockey knows that when your team is getting outplayed you take more penalties because the opposition gets more scoring chances and you are playing "catch up". I didn't hear anyone complaining about the refs in Detroit when the flames were getting multiple penalties. And yes the flame played terrible in those games, but I'm not blaming the refs. There are always bad calls but to keep whining about the refs everytime you lose is such a weak excuse. And its spelled Calgary.
Though I'm a flames fan, Detroit is a good team and probably still has the edge in the series because the flames play so poorly away from home.

The calls go in home team always get the close calls. That why you get home ice advantage. It the same in any game it not only in Calgary. The Refs are not getting paid off to make less calls for Flames. The Flames played a better game than Wings. And they deserve to win that game.

In this particular case, it was because the away team just kept taking dumb penalties. The fact is that the Red Wings' special teams have been pathetic the past two games. That is why they lost. Blaming the refs is equally pathetic. It is not like the same refs officiate all the Calgary games, so your insinuation makes no sense. It is obvious just fan bias on your part.

That said, I am a Red Wings fan myself, so I hope they turn it around back at the Joe!

Because the Red Wings committ 3 times as many penalties as the Flames, apparently.

Funny...the penalties ended up 6 for Detroit and 6 for Calgary.

Could it just be that Calgary actually CONVERTED some of theirs that it made it seem much more?

Hasek does poorly acting in the net to draw a penalty so i blame him. Calgary likes the phisical game and people get mad at them, so they start taking penalties.

DETRIOT TO WIN IN 6.

Ok people, it's time to quit blaming the ref every time your team loses.

Go Wings!!

Because everything is fixed. You couldn't possibly be seeing things through a fan's eyes.
