why do many movie actors have a short time being married?

I would say if you were to look at the entire population; and were to take the number of short term marriages total; celebrity marriages would only be a small percentage. I think that because they are in the public eye, it seems that their relationships are more commonly short lived; where as statisitcs for the "average" population are not as well known. Many people get married only to divorce a short time later....

Too much temptation being thrown at them, either through a movie where they have "pretend" they are in love with a person, then, actually believe they are, or by groupies that throw themselves at the actors feet for what they term "no strings fun" as they see it as a badge for their self esteem to bed anyone who is popluar in the media, married or not.

It's all about getting the attention from the media, I guess. And it's not just movie actors. It's pretty much celebrities themselves. They most likely try, but don't at all, understand what love and marriage is really about, and solely do it for the sake of attention.

I think its because they are usually apart, one is on one side of the world shooting there movie, the other is in another country shooting their movie. they meet for a short vacation and back to work. they rarely get to see each other. and there are so many rumors going around Hollywood, one innocent hug can turn into someone cheating. there are too many obstacles facing married movie stars, but luckily some do make it.

Marriage is hard enough without going thru everything actors do... Plus acting love scenes with others sparks happen along with everything else. Spending alot of time away from their spouse they need something.

The pressure on them is enormous, all the media, all the filming they have to be around the world doing...I think they are also selfish, they care way to much about making millions and millions of dollars instead of being a loving, responsible partner.

I Think Its because they travel too Much and never get to see their spouses and in movies the make out with other people so they end up getting jealous.

If you could have anyone you wanted would you settle for one for too long? I doubt it. Most do it just for publicity anyways to further their career. Nobody in Hollywood gets married for love its money.

I think it is because they are so full of themselves and care too much about themselves. They can't think about others before themselves. Plus they might get bored of that person. I'm not saying they are all like that but I think this would apply to alot of them.
