I agree..Some people are peeved at all the press he's getting....But I say, what better way for us to learn the sign's of a troubled person, before this type of tragedy happens again.

I think people are concerned that maybe the next potential unhinged shooter is watching that video on the news over and over and learning that you can get a lot of attention this way. People who do this kind of thing know that it's going to get them attention after they're dead. The kids who shot people at Columbine left some kind of suggestions behind about who should play them in the movie, I think. Would they have done it if they believed they'd just be tossed into an unmarked grave and nobody would ever watch their videos or consider their motives or care who they were and why they did what they did? I tend to think maybe they wouldn't have.

Sadly, I think it's because he honestly thought he could make a difference. He felt he had a just cause in doing what he did. Maybe he figured that if enough people felt bad about what happened to him, they would change their behavior. Or maybe he thought that if everyone felt guilty for his death, he would be avenged more than just by killing all the people he killed. It's a twisted way to gain fame, but he figured since the Columbine boys got their 15 minutes of fame, it would happen for him too. Sadly, he was right.
I think, too, on some very disturbed and twisted level, he didn't really believe he would die. People as deluded as he was don't have a fear for their own mortality. They believe they are invincible, which is just a very distorted view of reality.

Because these crackpots that do this stuff want attention...dead or not. He sent the video so it would be shown. If the media doesn't broadcast it, it shows other crackpots in the world you don't always get what you want outta killing people (making a name for yourself). We should be caring about the families of the deceased, not the idiot who did the killings.

I understand the situation that Cho was stuck in but doing what he did was wrong. Anyway, I personally think that they're showing the videos so people can understand why he did what he did, not only that but they're using his videos as an entertainment.

He wanted glory after he was gone, and now he gets it.
We know he knew he was going to be dead when it was posted, but why do what he wants? This just encourages borderline personality people like him to do this for fame, be it after death or not.
I am telling you, he was wanting some Columbine type fame and now he has it.. Thanks NBC.

We've seen enough............
Focus should be on the victims, survivors and families and the school.
