As a Ducks fan, I can say that I have been VERY frustrated by Backstrom's prowess in the net. He is an amazing goalie, from what I have seen.

He's amazing! Even though the Wild are down 3-1 in the series, he's only given up a few goals. I'm lovin Backstrom! Go WILD!!!

backstrom is awesome and i wish that the wild went further... i was hoping that the wild would some how find there way into the stanley cup championship against the rangers but then they would lose to King Henrik and his knights..... then again this is just a dream of mine

I'm withholding my judgement until further proof is available. Too many young goalies come in and look great for a year, and then suddenly go to pot when everyone figures them out. If he is still playing this good two years from now, I'll give him all the kudos in the world!

don't know about 'stud' but holmqvist is the bigger surprise for me. Backstrom- you knew he would be good. holmqvist is holding his own vs. the great Brodeur.

A lot of people were speculating if he was ready for the play-offs. He was more than ready. He was phenomenal! I'm glad that he got at least one win in the series fo how great he plaed. He's definitely one to keep an eye on...

Too bad he couldn't hold the ducks to his regulars season Goals against average. That and he needed quite a bit more goal support himself.
