sequence question?

Find a formula for the general term, a_n

for: 1/2, 1/4, 1/6, 1/8, ...

I know that I am making this harder than it really is! Thank you for your help!

1/2 = 1/(2*1)
1/4 = 1/(2*2)
1/6 = 1/(2*3)
1/8 = 1/(2*4)

=> a_n = 1/(2n)

1/2^n (where n=1, 2, 3, 4, ...)

How about 1/(2n) for n = 1, 2, 3 , 4 ,............
