My ex and I had a huge falling out when our relationship ended. Much was said and done and we both acted out in anger. When I tried to talk to him and confront him, he deleted my emails and didn't want to talk to me anymore. I let it go and time has passed...it always bothered me and I called him and apologized but I got really emotional and told him I would email him and to please not delete it. Well...he has been online, yet the email says "unread". Does this mean he is considering it?
I want things to be ok between us, without any anomosity. We went thu alot and I helped him thru so much. Has time made him think? Or does he not care. He knows we cannot go back to the way things were...but I wanted to see if we can get past this and remain friends, he also is aware of this. Please just tell me if you were him how would you feel. I mean he could have deleted it like the rest. I sent it on Monday, its almost Friday:(

Just forget him & move on. It's apparent that he is immature & doesn't know how to respond to someone who can be mature & be a friend to him still after all you've been through. I'm sure he won't acknowledge your emails, so please don't waste your time on someone so uncaring. Hold your head up, be confident, smile & move on....Good Luck !!! Aloha....

1. How do you know the email is unread?
2. I obviously can't speak for him but as a guy, I don't like being friends with an ex. It would be all or nothing. But that's just me; not all guys react the same way.

My initial thought when you said that he hadn't read it is that he just went ahead and deleted it without even opening it. Perhaps, sorry to say, he may have added your address as Spam, which would probably mean that he would never get another email from you.
I blocked my ex's email address, so whether she ever sent anything to me, I'll never know.

He doesn't want to deal with you right now, and maybe forever. Take a deep breath, probably more. You've had a loss and so has he; people deal with losses differently. Desperation is never attractive. Give him some time, maybe he'll be back, maybe he won't.
Look forward to the future whether he's there or not!

I would think if he wanted to talk to you, it wouldn't have taken him all week. Maybe it's just time to forget the past and move on with your future and wait for the right guy to come along that appreciates you.

i think he just forgot about it for a moment.
give him some time to cool off and when he's done .. you guys can talk more about it.
i think you guys should be friends .. because you guys had some pretty good memories and you dont want to lose each other either.

He might not have had time to read it or..... just hasnt taken the time to because he knows he will need a little bit of time to read it and think about what you said. He might be afraid to open it. Give him time.
