well, they dont pay as well for the bearded lady at the circus anymore, so I had electrolysis and got rid of it...;)

I think it is because wearing a full beard
is out of style. It isn't trendy now a days
like a short stylish clean shaven look.
Wearing a beard makes men look older
and outdated for these times. Its outdated.

i love wearing a big *** beard, but work doesn't allow me to. i'm a corrections officer and often times have to wear gas masks when expelling pepper spray on unruly inmates. with a beard you can't get an airtight seal and the pepper gas hits you.
i used to wear a long beard with my head shaved with a close number blade. i was often confused with middle eastern muslims. really, i'm just a boring white guy.

Not allowed for reasons of work safety - or currently deemed as a sign of being associated with religious fundementalism - certain Islamic, Jewish , Hinu and Christian sects promote large growths of facial hair as part of thei religious doctrine

It is whatever is in style. If someone starts wearing a full beard-------watch it catch on and be the new style.

Because they're ugly, nasty, germ-filled nests of hair and basically tells the world how lazy you are! And they are so out of style, for those who care about style. Your average hillbilly probably doesn't!
