Good question. The bigger question is what are you going to use for a monitor or TV? You will have to find out what their scan rate etc. is. If it is like Japan and most of the East, it won't work on their system. You can get a voltage/frequency adapter for use in the Orient, but the TV scans and channel frequencies are not compatible with US TV.

The PS3 has a basic skill furnish that would cope with voltages cutting-edge in Europe (220-240V) as nicely as N. usa and factors of Asia (a hundred-110V). If something it somewhat is a greater robust function than in basic terms having a skill furnish that would basically cope with one selection of voltages. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that there are different ameliorations. The plugs, case in point. uncomplicated adequate to attend to, yet you will would desire to get a distinctive skill cable. additionally the video format is distinctive. Europe makes use of a video prevalent called chum, while N. usa makes use of NTSC. those at the instant are not interchangeable, and the PS3 isn't able to changing from one to a distinctive. ultimately, the PS3 itself is area locked, which skill a PS3 from Europe won't play video games meant for the N. American industry. this is resembling the stupid DVD area "function".

I'm a frequent flyer to the Philippines. One thing that i can tell you is to check the outlet. At a house where i stayed in, some of the outlets (one was in the kitchen) had a 240v, and a 120v. so i would use the 120v for my things. It was inscribed on the outlet itself.

So try to check the outlet. It may have that choice. Hope that helps.
