Not home made but good. Try the facial wash by Clearasil. Benzoil peroxide type zit medications too. That medicated powder Gold Bond makes soaks up the oil that causes breakouts. My daughter uses it a lot. I would not try to cover it up. The stuff you use might clog your pores and make it worse. Also minimal sun exposure actually drys up zits.

tooth paste is good to clear up blemishes, but makes sure its not the gel tooth paste....also, visine eye drops reduce some redness, so if u use a drop of visine it can clear up some of the redness!

Tea tree oil always works for me. It's strong so if you have sensitive skin dilute it.

there's a myth that tooth paste is suppose to help dry it out faster.... but I haven't personally tried it.....good luck I know those things are just plain nasty.... poor thing...
