Because you make the uninformed and immoral people feel inferior because of your high moral standards and belief in God.

Need more information.

Do you try to force your beliefs on others and berate them if they don't agree?

Do you spend too much time talking about your religion - nobody really cares what others believe and constantly talking about that subject can turn people off.

Do you spout conservative rhetoric from the basis of knowledge? Or, do you just parrot the Limbaughs of the world.

Can you freely debate with someone who disagrees with you - without becoming obnoxious and self-righteous?

If you list your latest "offense" maybe the answers could be more productive.

because everyone hates 80% of everyone else on thiis site. Basically other people don't agree with you.

However it might depend on how you use them, if you're spewing out obnoxious statements and derogatory remarks then I think most people would have a problem with you more than with your beliefs, however if you're typing out your beliefs in an attempt to add to a discussion and not trying to offend anyone then people take offense because they disaggre and want to be as chauvinistic as possible - I don't know you so I don't know to what extent you're on, but I wouldn't doubt either of them.

Moral relativists cannot stand moral absolutism. Religious people or anyone who believes that there is a Creator and that the Creator sits in judgment of man really freak out moral relativists. Moral relativists do not believe there are any black and white moral issues. They see only shades of gray. Their favorite words are "who are we to judge?" it is a very useful way of looking at things if you don't want to ever have anyone judge your own behavior.

But moral relativism comes at a price. You have to defend a lot of crap. For instance you have probably read fellow contributors blame the U.S. for the attacks on 9/11. Soon you will see some blame the murdered students for what happened to them.
You will see people suggesting that the terrorists may be right and we are wrong. They are completely unable to condemn any evil act because they do not accept that evil exists.

If some kid burns down a house, society failed that kid. If a young girl becomes pregnant it is society's fault for not giving her contraceptives at an early enough age. Remember the all time classic master of moral relativism when he said, " It depends on what the meaning of 'is' is".

Offense to "your" beliefs?? Look back at what Christ endured for the very thing you are talking about! Jesus said that many would not accept us! Still, we are to be "in this world, not of this world!" Being a Christian is not easy in the world we live in today but, it is still our responsibility to "follow Him." That means we are going to be "persecuted for His name's sake"! To be rejected usually means you've touched a nerve or, planted an unwanted seed!

Put on the Armor of God and keep the faith!

Could it be that Liberals tend to oppose (not all though, just a majority) Judeo-Christian beliefs at every corner they can yet embrace the so-called "religion of peace" and/or atheism? Not to mention that many believe anyone is evil or corrupt or stupid when they disagree on one little subject.

I have no problem with your conservative beliefs, but as for Christian freaks I think they are if not more dangerous than the Gay's and the Muslims that want us to believe the way they do .

I only take offense when you try to impose your values and beliefs on me. Otherwise I have no problem with you and wish you the best.

It's not that I take offense to them...it's that you want to impose them on everyone else!!!! Plus a LOT of the people who have answered this question assume that you have to be a Christian to be moral. Christians (at least not all of them) don't have the moral high groud because they pick and choos what parts of their own religion they choos to emphasize. In the case of the VT shooting they choose to point the finger of judgement and vengance more than considering the vicitms and why people's indifference and isolation allowed this to happen in the first place. Only God has the right to judge, many of you think you speak for God, when only God can judge...our "job" is to be positive and love one another AND our enemies. Many of you just want to use religion to serve your own hateful xenophobic views.
