I dont go to flea markets often, mostly because my work hours dont allow it, but if there is something I want, I get my mother to look out for it, as she is at them all the time. I go to thrift stores quite a lot..... I bought a beautiful brand new expensive dinner set there for just a few dollars, it was a factory second. I buy dolls all the time, a hobby of mine is dressing them, and finding them new homes. I love vintage fabrics and I get a lot of them too. Mostly I dont know what I want until I see it.......

I love to spend the day wandering our local flea market and swap meets... looking for nothing in particular. Although I love to find cool stuff for my yard, mostly it's a nice way to hang out with my family, and walk around in the fresh air.... cheap fun, that's me!

Heck yea. I'm an oddball. I look for the unusual things that you just don't see everyday. I avoid the lamps shaped like a woman's leg and that sort of thing, but I have picked up some things that were unique.

Yup..They are amazing....Someone elses junk..could be my treasure...

I got a brand new pair of Levi jeans with all the tags on them. They cose me 2 dollars. I don't care if they get ruined at work (from the sandbox, art projects, kids noses, throwup, etc. )

I also have bought college text books (biology, etc), furniture to fix up, records, plant pots, bird feeders, etc. at them.

I kinda look at in the terms of recycling. Why fill up landfills with perfectly good stuff. I also bought a brand new rubbermaid dish strainer there.

Have you checked out Freecycle.org (each region has one...) It is all about saving the landfills. Free stuff....! Its awesome!

I love them all, I look for anything unique or that catches my eye. One time,a man shopping there caught my eye. lol....It's a great place to meet people and chat about all the odd items that you see.
I stop about 3 times a week to one of them.

You can find really good books for a cheap price. And vintage magazines & souveniers (like Coke bottles and posters).

Yeah, you can find some nice things that don't cost alot. Sometimes I go with nothing particular in mind, and see if something catches my eye.
