I expect to be treated like a lady, this doesn't necessarily have to cost money. Things like opening doors, pulling my chair out, allowing me to order first and so on cost NADA! I would love it if a date would come to my house with a picnic basket, blanket and a bottle of wine and we had a picnic in a park or on the lake, and that doesn't have to cost much at all, it is truly the thought that counts. If a guy doesn't have much $, then go out for lunch or just drinks or do pizza or something. If there are more dates, trust me, she will offer to reciprocate on dates 2+ in some way, maybe offer to pay for the movie or cook you dinner. Continue being a gentleman though, most women love it and I am definitely a feminist...but that really doesn't matter when it comes to matters of the heart!

Cheap from a material point of view (that doesn't bother me), but I demand a lot from my dates from an intellectual point of view; they've got to have something interesting to talk about. I guess maintaining that level of knowledge and mental alertness could be expensive on some level.

I love going shopping, eating out and then renting a movie and watching it together. That's my idea of a wonderful date, do you think that's a cheap date?

it depends on how nice the man is if he is normal i expect a small date like a walk in the park or like a movie!
If he is rich i expect a very expensive date! haha! lol!
