Princess (from sire)
Rose (from dam)
of Nez Perce (pronounced Nezz Per-say, after the American tribe that developed the breed)
OR
Paloosa River (after the Palouse River that runs through their territory)

So either
Princess Rose of Nez Perce
or
Princess Rose of Paloosa River

I went through the same process you are trying to go through now when my uncle's mare was pregnant with my colt. You can build up a list of names, but you can't pick a good name until the horse is actually born and you can see what it looks like and it's personality. You may have a name that you think you would never use, but when it comes it may fit it perfectly and on the other hand, you could plan to name it Blackie and it could come out snow white. You see what I mean. You could look back at pedigrees and try to come up with a name or combo of the sire and dams name from this. I thought I'd found a bunch of male names and couldn't find any good female names so spent 10 months trying to come up with a good name and finally settled on a combination of the dam and the sire's dams name. Turns out it was a colt and none of the male names I'd come up with sounded right. Something else is that you need a short name. Definitely no more than three syllables and preferably two. This is the name you call it. You can put whatever you want on it's papers, but the shorter and easier it rolls off your tongue the easier for the horse. My uncle's stallions name is Aladdinn Cass, but we call him Cass. One syllable and it rolls of the tongue. Easy for the horse to remember. Like, you can name him Pick Pocket, but should call him "Pick" or "Pocket". The last bit of advice is that you say the name out loud as much as you can once it gets here. I named my colt two different things before I settled on it's current name and after saying them for a couple of days out loud, they just sounded dumb. My colt is a black and white tobiano paint x arabian. My mother wanted to name him "Diablo". He was nothing but, though he's showing some of those tendencies at 3 months old now. My uncle was in favor of "Concho". He's father's Cass as I said and I'd planned to name him Cass' something so it'd be Cass' Concho. I liked "Vaquero". All of these sounded good in my head, but sounded bad when said out loud. I ended up calling him "Amigo". It seems to fit him and has that western sound for a paint. I had a few other western names I'd really liked, such as "Apache", "Rodeo", and "Bandit", but they'd already been taken by horse's we'd had before. As a matter of fact, Apache was a black and white overo paint x draft that I had as my first horse. So good luck, build a list, wait till it gets here to see a personality and say the names out loud. You need to be happy with it, because you'll have to deal with it for the next 30+ years.

I think that I Am A Little Rose for her registered name is really cute, & you could call her Rose, Rosie, or Rosebud for short.

Good luck with your filly!
