I guess if the dog is blind their owners would be their seeing eye humans. My Nan and Grandad's dog Cindy unfortunately lost her eye sight. When we took her for walks we would have to guide her. She did have a very good memory, she was able to move around the house and garden remembering where things were very well. Occasionally she did bump in to things, but she did very well. She seemed to be a happy dog.

Dogs and cats actually have a really good memory. They remember where things are, so they avoid things like the coffee table, chairs, things like that. It is like they made a map in their head of the entire house. I work at a vet clinic, so I have worked with many blind cats and dogs. The only thing that seems to set them back is when their owners moves something, like the couch. They tend to bumb into it at first. And their owners kind of work at their seeing eye humans, because they will guide them when they go on walks, or to an unfirmiliar place.

sure I am in training now, if I pass my next 2 test I get my first blind dog. Then I can get in all the places that all the other humans are not allowed in.

If their owners care about them they are. I had a deaf dog a few years ago & he was amazing. He would watch me closely for visual cues and he knew at least six different hand signals.
