Is it more fun to believe in superstition and horror?
Tried the ouija board when I was 13 (B-day present from mom).
It really didn't work. I suppose that I didn't expect it to, but it was truely less than useless. We did have some fun with it, but that was us moving the planchette and making up silly messages. I admit, it is fun for a slumber party.
I still have the board, but I'm a missing the planchette thing. I keep it in my closet and guess what? Still does nothing.

We also did the other slumber party stuff. Seances, light as a feather, stiff as a board, and bloody Mary. Nothing ever came of those either-but it did freak us out when we did bloody mary, turned the lights back on and my little brother had thrown ketchup on the mirror.

Whenever I've told people in person that my ouija board did nothing, I get all these horror stories and dire warnings. Ridiculous.

Boonoora-I was a thirteen year old 21 years ago, sweetie. So I could do without the motherly scare-tactics. Thankfully, my mother was unsuperstitious and sane.
