Is it something mostly done by people with contacts? Or is it a fashion statement? Or is it a soccer mom thing?

i usually put them there when I go inside or if I am talking to somebody. it is rude to talk to somebody with sunglasses on. And if I put them in my bag or something I will either sit on the bag in the car, or lose them. And I don't want to be grandma looking with one of those lame keeper cord things. it is also cumbersome to carry case with me in my bag.

It's like the wearer of glasses on head telling you that he/she is entirely too busy to spend too much time with you because he/she is going to have to put them sunglasses on real quick cuz they have to leave in a hurry cuz they have so much stuff to do it's not even funny so enjoy the short amount of time you're going to get to spend with a sunglass on the head wearing person.

i'm thinking it's a fashion statement, you know? big shades and such. but then again most people i know try to be cool by trying the whole "i'm so cool, i wear sunglasses at night!" thing..untill they trip on something or run into something because they can't see ahah.

I'm "light sensitive" now due to eye surgeries & have to wear sunglasses the minute I step outside. They are often on my head too cuz I need them at hands reach quickly sometimes if I'm out driving or whatever. That's my story & I'm stickin to it!

It's a safe place to keep your sunglasses when you go inside somewhere after being out in the sun.... nothing more than that.

people will do that when they want to show off a new pair of sunglasses they have bought, but they dont want to wear them on their face. or they just place them there when they walk inside from being outside, der!

If I don't put them on my head when I go inside, then I will lose them. I also like that they push my hair out of my face - but that's just a side benefit.
