If India didn't have the summer and winter monsoons, how would the climate change?

Would it be one big desert?

The monsoon, particularly southwest monsoon which reaches the Rajasthan state,(which is on the northwest side of India) becomes almost dry after shedding all its moisture and that is the reason 'Thar Desert"exists there. If there are no monsoons, particularly central India and South India would have completely become another desert.North India may escape from this tragedy as the river Ganges ,Brahmaputra and Indus are perennial rivers(water flowing throught the year) as they originate from The Himayalas Mountain range at the top of which ice is melting throught the year to feed the above rivers.

We wouldn't have rain. We would die. And that would suck.
