I have had a few boyfriends, but I have always had this one crush. I know that he is gay, and at one time there was feeling that were mutual. He moved however and we don't see each other anymore. Right now he is in a relationship, but he hasn't stayed in one to long since our thing. We never actually dated, but there was something there and we both knew it. Should I call him?

I think you should do something casual, like send him an email; maybe send an e-card, a "Thinking of You" type thing. That way you won't seem like you're pushing, and you won't be interfering in his relationship. If he's interested, he'll contact you, and you can take it from there.

You can be more casual in an email. You can feel him out, see if he is still in his relationship, then when the time is right, you can develop it more.

I might do something less intrusive, like write or email. That way, if he prefers to ignore you, he can, whereas if you call, he may be put on the defensive or feel he has to either insult you or deceive his current beau.

I don't think you should, like you said he never stays in a relationship for very long, so he may leave you to or vise versa.

Well you can call him...but stay out of his relationship. Just wait for that one to end on it's own

I thank you should stand back until the relationship has ended and drop all the hints you can.

Good luck to you

Tell him what you told us. It might feel awkward, but in the end people prefer forthcommingness (is that a word? lol). Call him.
