1. Increase in wedding business for florists, caterers, hall rentals, ministers/j.p.s, disc jockeys, etc.
2. Increased stability of employment as gay people will not move from a geographical area without their spouses.
3. Less ambiguity about who deserves family medical benefits.
4. Fewer court hearings regarding disposition of assets following the death of one member of a gay couple, because marriage laws would apply.
5. Greater stability for children with 2-parent adoptions, making foster care system less burdened.

There is none, much like there isn't any for regular marriage(through court).
You could argue about extra money for companies that provide wedding stuff, places that rent halls and so forth, caterers, decorators, etc etc. Maybe also honeymoon.
However this has little to do with the legal same-sex marriage. Legal same-sex marriage is a law thing, it only means that the government makes money by processing the marriage license, nothing more.
The ceremony anyone can have, and many already do. So the money is already being spent I suppose. It might lead to more money being spent.
But you're putting ceremony in with legalization, they're 2 different things, fully independent of each other.

well same sex couples would pay higher taxes as that married ppl on average spend more money on taxes together. Also the resort and marriage related businesses would also make more money as that couples would have more reason for marriage. ( I know that couples have dedication "marriages" ) but the legalization of it would prompt more ppl to do it. It also benefits the couple as that say one is extremely ill and is at the hospital you can get in easier as that you are the husband/wife of the partner. The benefits go on and on and on. I believe in a live and let live thing I personally don't believe in marriage period as that today the purpose of it is to legally bind making it so if the other partner leaves that the person leaving can get more money it is no longer something that is to be a celebration of being together people use it now days to enhance the relationship unfortunately most ppl don't make it past the honeymoon stage.

Canada, the UK and other EU countries have legalized same-sex marriage with no problems. Benefits in the US would be ease of transfer of partner assets after death, health and insurance benefits, hospital rights, children; and if the couple brokes up they would have rights to support, division of asset acquired during the relation and legal rights to custody of child born or adopted during the relationship. These issue had been a problem for courts and are very costly to resolve without a legal marriage. Parterships agreement have helped, but it is still not as well defined as marriage.
I think gays should be allowed to marry. I am glad Mr. & Mrs. Loving paved the way for me and my fiance to marry. Hopefully, one day gays will have the same right to make there families whole in the US!

I don't think it would have too huge of an impact, really. For most school-aged children, potential marriage partners have little to no bearing on their education. I mean, how often did you hear lectures about getting married and such? Probably not that often. The only noticeable difference I can really think of would sex ed, where they would (hopefully) educate students on contraception for whatever types of sex they choose to engage in. I think that they should definitely include gay sex in that curriculum - abstinence-only sex ed never works, regardless of whether a student is gay or straight. Plus a little information never hurt anyone, and some facts might stave ignorance in future generations.

Instead of just "moving in" together, they would have to spend $15,000 on a wedding, like the rest of us. I'll bet the party hall owners and catering services would love that.

Equality is always good business policy. Marriage is big business. And stereotypically, homosexuals have better and more expensive tastes that our heterosexual counterparts. Which calculates for bigger and better profits.
