i definitely agree with you on that one. Brian Lara had his great moments but in the end he had to retire. i think the same goes for sachin tendulkar. he is losing his fire, his passion for the game and i really think that is what cricket is all about
Good Question

No, I will say Brain Lara is different from Sachin Tendulkar. I am not saying this because I am a Sachin fan or something, Yes I agree that I am Indian team fan but let me tell this one,
Brain Lara is a great player and a total classic Test player and he would not have been retried if he would have not been in West Indies. Off the camera, Brain Lara has so many problems with his board officals, I came to know that, When Brain Lara was there to select his world cup squard he didnt choose Ramdin in some over issues and this got the board people angry and now when Brain Lara is out of power, they made him do this drastic step or else he would have kicked out of the ODI team, so whats the best ? Quit by respect or get fired by disrespect...Brain Lara choosed the first one.
Sachin Tendulkar, He is one of the fine player that India has produced and World has seen. He is a player both of ODI and Test, He is here to stay for more 6 years in Indian team. He has no trouble with the BCCI so what should he quite something he loves and has breath from last 18 years, he loves cricket and breath through it. I would like to say that Sachin has more 6 years in him still good, if that is no injuries or so. Sachin can play, cause he is not like Brain, (38). Sachin is (35) and...
if ur saying that Brain Lara retried then he retried in 38, so Sachin has more 3 more years to go, so why to raise this question. Sachin has something to contribute Indian team may be his exprience to youngesters.

Lara retired because he was not doing good in ODIs at all and he is 37 also going to be 38 this year. Have you heard any cricketer play after they turn 37 or 38 in international cricket these days? No. The reason being the amount cricket being played and the travelling and other commitments required. Sachin is going to be 34 so he has another 2-3 years. He should not be an automatic selection but should be available for selection. He should spend time playing first-class cricket and prove to the selectors that he is good enough. He bailed out India a bunch of times if not all the time in the last 3-4 months. He is old but doesn't mean he can't turn games. He can provide stability. He doesn't need to be his old self. He needs to be the senior who plays but let's youngster in the side make the most of the opportunity they've been given. We shouldn't blame the world cup debacle on him or any other person. That was a collective failure. He did his job in the middle order. The Sehwags, the Uthappa's, the Yuvraj's are the ones to blame who let the opportunities slip. They are the future. Expectations should be from them not from a person who has carried Indian cricket on his back for atleast the last 12-13 years. So quit saying that Sachin should retire. Be reasonable and let him do what he loves doing.

It is heart wrenching even to think that Indian team will not have a genius like Sachin Tendulkar to make sure that runs are automatically coming from his batand make a difference between Win and Loss.
But the reality on the ground is that there was a ICC Cricket World Cup in 2007 where Sachin could not show his prowess. It may be such that this is one of his case of failure which may not be repeated in future, but what can he justify if for any reason his performance would not improve in future games?
Any cricketing greats when announce retirment, we the fans from all over teh world feel pain of not being able to his superb performance. This was true for Sunil Gavasker, Imran Khan, Shane Warne and such icons of world cricket. It is true that the Team would get a bit demoralised, but the chances of newer talents surfacing would offset such temporary inconveniences.
In Bangladesh we saw a few good cricketers had to go, now the turn of our captain Habibul Bashar has come. Let such good player retire on their own, instead of forcing them to do so either by public pressure of that coming from the Board.
Good Luck to Sachin and may be we will be able to see him in commentary box, or hosting shows like Charu Sharma and his lieks or in official meetings for the development of cricket in India as well as in this subcontinent!

Decesion to retire will depend upon to the individual. Lara has retired after the age of 37 years and Sachin is younger to him in age. If Tendulkar is confident that he can still play good cricket, nobody should force himm to retire.

expertise sensible equivalent Consistency equivalent Personalty sensible on no account met them so i can't remark. i could have the two in my team. Brian Lara had to play undemanding components with little help from team friends. Lara's captain's gave wearing declarations giving the contest of challenge for a effect. Sachin Tendulker had extra proficient team friends who might desire to stay in and permit his expertise to polish. If Brian Lara replaced into in a extra useful team he could have broke as many cricket information as Sachin Tendulker and could have made merely as many runs. the place is your evidence Sachin Tampered with cricket balls.

On the contrary, if Sachin has a little shame left, he should retire from Cricket totally and allow other juniors to play. At his age he is nothing but a pain for the team.
