When do people usually stop answering your questions?

For me, after the first hour, no one resonds to my questions any more. But the question is open for, like, three days or something. Why?

The problem I see is that the Question gets so far buried behind other questions that it just gets missed. Most people I'm sure just browse questions, instead of searching for a particular one. If I'm bored, I will usually stay in the P&S questions, and browse back through the pages and answer anything that I find interesting. I get bored after browsing through questions that are 11 hours bored, or about 22 pages back.

Since there's always newer questions, people can much easier refresh the page to get interesting questions instead of going back through a bunch of questions. And, since you're more likely to get best answer if you're one of the first to answer it, it only makes sence to answer the newest questions you can find.

For me, they stop when the questions get too odd. A little bit of odd is okay, but once I head over the line, everyone bails. Which is fine. I'm not sure about yours. I like your kitty avatar though.

The people are always changing.I get more answers from certain people than from others.I still will get a few answers a couple of days afterwords.Sometimes it depends on what type of questions you are asking.

Whenever they realize that I'm going to let the people on Answers vote for the best answer instead of giving them best answer

For me, its when I'm too drunk to spell anything and everyones like... what the heck are you saying?
