It's a quandary. Even though Target is more expensive, I can't stomach Wal-Mart after watching "China Blue" on Independent Lens. That being said, I can get a bouquet of flowers every week for $4 at Wal-Mart that are fresh and not half dead, and I have yet to find a Target or anyone else who can match that!
They've both enlarged their stores into SuperTarget and Super Wal-Mart, and frankly, I don't like having to walk a mile inside the store just to get some pizza rolls! I'd rather they'd just stayed small, and I can go in, get what I want, use the self-service checkout, and I'm done. Uh oh, Target doesn't have self-checkout here!
That all said, if I'm thinking of something I'd like to snack on, and both are down the street from me, literally, if I'm in a hurry I will go to the Wal-Mart because it's closer, but if time is not an issue I will go across the street to Target, in solidarity for the poor Chinese female worker.
And isn't it interestingly weird that people find it easier to type "Wally World", with way more letters, than to type "Wal-Mart"!

Target,they don't play piped in country music.Although there are many laughs at the Walmart here.But I like Target's merchandise better.
