It was completely dark in my room and I saw a blast of light come from my pantry. When I turned on the lights there was nothing there. I do not have any electrical plugs or outlets in my pantry. The only thing that I have stored there is new cat liter in a bag and packs of drinks. What was the blast of white light. Again, I have no plug outlets or anything electrical inside.

Do this...Go to a dark area in your house and close your eyes...Wait a moment and put you finger on one eyelid...You will "See" light and colors....
It may well be a spasm of the optic nerves...Kind of like a hiccup in the breathing pattern.......
Or it could be Casper.....

1. Check for fireflies. The little buggers are hard to spot in the light, but can make quite a display when the lights go out.
2. Have your eyes checked. Sudden flashes of light and dark can indicate a serious problem with your retinas. Left untreated, it can lead to permenant blindness. If you don't find fireflies, and continue to see "lights" and "shadows", call your doctor.

It could have been someone trying to come in form another plane. If you hear a sound like a big cracking, sorta like thunder but not, and smell something burning it could be magic being used.
If scared you can try to put up protective shielding, but since it didn't happen again, they could have realized they had the wrong entry. You may be on or near a paranormal power point.

I believe you, that's a spirit that is visiting you, the white light represents, purity, it's an astral travel from a spirit to let you know that every thing is OK , don't be afraid.

one logical explanation , might be that there is phosphorus in the cat litter. just like liquid tide.i have used that in paint to make stars on my sons ceiling. it glows in the dark. i am a believer of things that go bump in the night . but i always look for the logical reason first.

you have a ghost in your pantry
dont worry, spirits are harmless, unless its a poltergeist. they like to throw things and make a mess....
contact a paranormal society if there anything happens in ur pantry that is messy with no cause...

I believe that you saw the light! I see shadows and lights all the time~ could be our imagination or it could be something more. I believe in ghost do you?

Sounds like the cat litter could be the culprit. Look at the ingredients, see if any of the litter came from the planet Krypton.
Maybe a segment for "Smallville" is being filmed nearby.

can't tell u what the light was but I can tell you that some times eye problems can cause one to see flashing lights or a sunburst type of thing.....
