How would results differ in NH3 + HCl --> Nh4 + Cl if a polyprotic acid such as H2SO4 were used instead of HCl?

NH3 + HCl ===> NH4+ + Cl-

with

2NH3 + H2SO4 ===> 2NH4+ + SO42-

The net effect is NH3 + H+ ===> NH4+ with Cl- and SO42- as spectator ions,
