I think Sanjaya should had been eliminated since the top 24. Not now..... At the past he should've been eliminated. I'm so happy that he's out. Please vote for me as the best answer. He was one of the worst singers I've ever heard in my whole entire life!!!!!!!

I thought the whole idea behind America Idol was to take everyday people with extraordinary talent and make them the stars that they were born to be. Sanjaya is not, will not ever be one of those people. He is so fruity it's ridiculous. It still amazes me that he got this far!!

no..i love him! The show won't be the same without him - and NOT cuz of his hair, cuz of his uniqueness!
I think people in the audience were just relieved that LaKisha (who is so damn proud of herself btw) wasn't eliminated. There was a lot of cheering...but honestly it seemed like it was more cheering for her, than being happy that Sanjaya was leaving.

A lot of people are glad he is gone but I think people were cheering more for Lakisha staying than Sanjaya leaving.

Sanjaya is talentless, and this show hasn't had any character or justice since Season 3--it was all good until Fantasia won. Her voice is comparable to my cat's.

I did not think that he was a good enough singer to be on American Idol and so yes, I was VERY happy when he got eliminated.

i thought that he should have been eliminated alot sooner, not to be mean, but honestly i dont know why they let him stay so long, all the songs he picked did not match his voice. Sry
