Yes, marriage is sacred to me and divorce is a sin. I married my husband until death do us part.
Of course I do believe that their can be extenuating circumstances... abuse...and such.

I think marriage is very sacred. You can be married and really not have a marriage. In my situation, I filed for divorce because it was not my idea of a healthy marriage. I don't believe it was a sin and yet divorce is the last thing I wanted.

I married 16 years ago and there have been times that we both thought we made a big mistake but I think Most things can be worked through ( except, abuse, cheating Etc...) I do not think I would have gotten married at all if I felt like " Hey we are not getting along so lets get a divorce" I am NOT saying that divorce is wrong but it is wrong for me! I have friends that are divorced and that is the best thing that could have happened to them.

marriage is sacred to me. but if two individuals can't get along and there aren't any children then divorce may be the only option. to me cheating/adultery is the real sin. i believe people should wait until the relationship is formally over before bringing in another person.

Yes, marriage is sacred and both persons involved must do their best to work it out at all cost to fulfil all the promises they say in that vow in front of God. Divorce is sinful unless one of the couple is comitted to adultery.

well if you're asking my opinion, then yes, marriage is sacred to me. if you love someone enough then you make a commitment to stay with them, no matter how bad things get. and i dont think divorce is a sin, however it IS breaking your commitment to each other, and going against your word is far worse than sinning. well, that's what I think at least.

I think that question depends on one's religion, in many ways.
I do believe that marriage is an exteremly important union that should not be entered into lightly. However, I do not believe that divorce is a sin. If people are not happy and if a relationship does not function, I think it is better for everyone to move on and try to find happiness.

sacred , yes..because God initiated it in the beginning.....divorce is a sin if God 's word disagrees with it...in Mathew 19...Jesus said about divorce as only acceptable under one condition: adultery ...the adulterer sins and opens the door for the other , who is without sin to divorce if he cannot bare the marriage any longer....this is not sin...about any other cause, it is sin...as according to the bible, God's WORD...God bless
