I think Desmond thought Penny would be coming to the island. He changed the future of what was going to happen by saving Charlie again. The mysterious woman who showed up may have been sent by Penny to find Desmond. I loved Sawyer's comments about the ping pong "we have to play for 108 minutes" or something like that and "who's your favorite other?" That was so funny. I can't wait till next week!
