You know, I met a girl once who was really not physically attractive at all. She had awkward features, was kind of lanky, her body didn't have much shape to it, her facial features were disproportionate, and her hair was frizzy and perpetually messy. But you know what? That girl could've fooled anyone. It took me quite a while to notice that she wasn't that attractive, because she was so confident and carried herself so well that nobody really noticed what she looked like. "Pretty people" don't just say that beauty is internal, everyone with any sense says that, and it really is amazing how much inner beauty can affect outward appearance. When a person is internally beautiful, they actually start to appear beautiful to other people, even if they aren't attractive physically. Don't underestimate attitude and personality, they go a LONG way, both inside and out.

I have said that and believe that. i am not good looking but i am not that ugly either. But putting my own looks aside I want to be educated. Since you think that only pretty people say that and if that be true then when someone ask that is worried about their looks what should they others say that isn't rude as saying yeah it sucks to be you or yeah your right. You see I have a problem being rude so i try to be kind because that was how i was raised.

It's like a ready-made formula, right? Therefore, we should admire their beauty and hope they really understand what they say and why general human beings should think and practice what they say. It's a bit harder to enunciate what they really, again, mean by 'beauty comes from the inside'.

it's not true , what's true is that there is two types of beauty- the outer beauty examples like paris hilton(sorta) and the inner beauty like mahatma Gandhi.
outer beauty will one day fade (of course for some lucky people , they will age gracefully or they will have the money to afford cosmetic surgery)
while inner beauty will last forever.
of course if you aren't in the "in" crowd of beautiful people it serves as a consolation, but never the less it the truth.
God bless,

That's their way of saying "Hey! your ugly but don't worry! I'm pretty enough for the two of us!"
However they're right beauty SHOULD come from the inside but it doesn't always work that way.

Pretty people age. They will lose their looks. They will wrinkle and gravity will affect their appearance.
Pretty people are often treated based on their appearance and devalued. They are used for their looks.
Pretty people often have low self esteem and require constant assurances to their worth as people -- sometimes looks are all that they have.

That's funny... I don't usually hear pretty people say that. In fact, it's just the opposite. I have heard it more frequently said by the awkward and unattractive.
