I have once when someone I know was in dire straights.....I was trying to get to her as she had fallen backwards on an escalator & was heading towards the bottom step.....I screamed & tried to get to her but she was too far below me....I could not find a shut off botton.....it could have been more tragic had the two guys not heard me in time.....it's just a response to reach out & scream for help even if no one is there.....hopefully someone screaming for help will be heard like I was. These two guys showed up out of no-where in a very noisy place. They must have been her guardian angels.

I promise you, someone hears you. They may not understand what they're hearing, but don't deny yourself the opportunity. It's like when you think of someone, and then, the phone rings, and it's them. I have been woken out of a dead sleep and called someone who was going to kill themselves, so I speak from personal experience.
