There are more than one symptom to pregnancy besides missed periods. Some of them include breast tenderness, weight gain, nausea, vomiting, constipation, fatigue. If you feel that you are pregnant and still have a period then you should take a test. It doesn't happen to many women but every so often a prego will have a period.

I was 6 1/2 months pregnant and didn't know it. I had no sickness like I did with any of my other pregnancy's. I did not gain weight there was no signs. i am not a big person (5'6 1/2" 140 lbs.) I had a period all the way up until August and found out in Sept. This was my 4th pregnancy, you would think that I would know my own body, but they all say that all pregnancy's are different. So, to answer your question, I guess it would depend on the person.

)-: They don't. I had a short, kind of weird period (but who doesn't have one of those once in awhile?) and then was shocked to have a miscarriage a month later. I've had three, and this one was the most painful of the batch.

If you think you are pregnant, go do a pregnancy stick test. If it is positive, and you've still had a period, go see a doctor. Something could be seriously wrong.

I had a period on/off for the first trimester and didn't know I was pregnant til 26 weeks and feeling fetal movement!!
Very rare.
I had just dealt with my mother's death and was very "outside myself".
I'm sure there were other symptoms but just did not notice.

Some of them dont for quite some time. This is not a common problem. With all of the questions that I see on here about this topic, you would think that its a normal part of pregnancy and it is not. When you are pregnant, in most cases you do not have a period.

I think it's due to a lot of wishful thinking and paranoia.
