Actually is depends on the infant. Some only drink 2 to 4 ounces at one feeding. It depends on the size of the baby. If the baby is drinking to much. You may want to try putting some cereal in his bottle.

All babies have a different appetite. At five weeks, about four ounces every three to four hours...depending on the schedule you're on. If he/she takes more than that or less than that don't worry. Just keep track of how much per feeding, and if you think it's too little talk to your doctor.

Its available, yet no longer likely. you merely gave formula as quickly as so i'm able to't see it being the clarification. He possibly doesnt fell properly the two. considering the fact which you're ill, he possibly has a splash a number of that too. while they do no longer experience properly they consume greater. it is greater of a convenience element than starvation. i'd furnish the breast while he's fussy, yet while he merely ate those days, i'd merely carry him and cuddle him, close to on your breast and furnish him your heat temperature and protection. perhaps that's what he desires greater. yet i know that my son those days went via that still around 4 weeks or so. It became merely a factor. I felt like he had to consume each and every hour. yet some days later he became ok. in case your son keeps this for greater effective than a week or so, pay interest to the signs and indicators. it might desire to be greater. the two considered one of my nursing sons had (have) acid reflux affliction and mandatory Zantac. in case you have faith, look up the indicators on line and communicate on your pediatrician. The meds worked like a attraction each and every time! Its a small quantity and not on it for too long. sturdy success!

you go with what your baby wants, i always put in extra, as i have had 3 kids and when she drinks whatever you have given her, offer a bit more next time, your baby is different to everyone Else, and you will know if she needs more or if she is content with what is given. If she is till hungry after a feed offer her more, you cant go wrong, but awesome for you for asking for advice, good luck
