What is it called when you really like someone, and you miss them so much when they're gone, when you hear their name it cuts like a knife, or makes you very happy, and everytime you walk past them, it seems like slow motion?

Not necessarily. "Love" is far deeper than what you've expressed. But never mind, it's sort of nice, & fun, isn't it? & no harm to you unless you have great expectations. Being "in" love is totally different than loving, & being loved.
I think being "in" love is a bright experience, & I've often been. I think being in love is important to finally discovering what "real" love is.

Love is mutual. feeling that way about someone and them feeling the same way about you is love. The next test is being able to see if you can still feel that way when you're around that person all of the time. Good luck!
