You asked your question for a reason.

I answered it for a reason.

In short - YUP! IMHO anyway.

You get cut off in traffic for virtually no reason. A mile up the road there has been an accident. It might have been you if that so rude person didn't cut you off! God Bless Them!

You show up at a store moments after a robbery ... by chance or was there something more? Someone or something - protecting you! God Bless Again!

I have been there, quite some time ago. A favorite sub shop I frequented had been robbed a day ago from what I read in the paper. I went out that night for a couple of drinks and stopped by the store on the way home. A 'voice' in my head told me not to stop there but I did anyway. Silly me!

A gal in the kitchen 'eyed' me and I thought she was flirting so I 'eyed' back. Moments later, the shift supervisor (a kid) skated past me and took down my license plate numbers. I inquired 'Why are you looking at my car'? He said 'Not your car but the guy next to you'! 'Oh, okay'???

Two months later I received a call from the local cops. 'Well, it took you long enough', I replied. (Sometimes, we can be sooo dumb, stupid even)!

Anyway, never let the cops take your pic, they lie way too often. A month later my pic was up through-out the state and I did nothing wrong! Everything does happen for a reason, believe it!

We might not know all of the reasons why things happen to us, but (believe me), they do happen for a reason!

Nothing happens for a reason....Because life is random, there is no such thing as fate or pre-ordained plan, bad things happen to ALL people because of coincidence, Murphy's Law, and random acts of nature and people. When the tectonic plates crash into each other and cause human calamities, are they worried about who's good and bad? Don't make me laugh. To think that good people are protected or somehow immune to the laws of nature is not logical or rational. If you start believing in fate and pre-ordained plans, then you're reverted to superstitious CAVE MAN logic....don't do it. Just kidding, do and believe what you want.

I think it's a little bit of both. We do make our own decisions in everyday life like things we say the things we do but somehow sometimes there Are times that seem like they happened for a reason. Like sometimes In my life there are times when things just happen that I couldn't explain or sometimes I change my schedule and something suprising happened that wouldn't have if i hadn't change my routine. So all in all I think its a Little bit of our own decisions but many times things do happen for a reason.

No dear, a reason makes everything happen. Everyone seems to be looking for that reason, they call it the meaning of life...lol

Good luck!

Each person has there own personal belief about it and facts or situations to back it up but that all it really is as belief and not a fact. I don't think so but I do think serendipitous events happen.

I believe that most of what happens is random but you can take it and make it have meaning depending on how you react to and take advantage of it.

you may very well be correct.

a lot of things DO happen, can it be GOD?is there reason?

or perhaps we simply wish that everything happens for a reason to help us overcome our miseries and pains.
