I know found out about it on theonering.net, but I can't find it. I watched a trailer of some scenes. It's about when Aragorn's father is killed and his mother takes him to rivendale. I don't know the people ever made it farther than that.

I can't remember what the name is but it had the word hope in the title I think. I don't know how how far they got because I don't think they had the rights.

Peter Jackson isn't/wasn't working on it. A lady was maybe she got told off cause maybe she didn't have the rights. but I looked really good.

You might be thinking of the planned "Hobbit" movie. It's actually about Frodo's cousin (but he was really a father figure) Bilbo. That's the only new LOTR movies I've heard of.
