I would want to be Forrest Gump's best friend. Everything has happened with him. From teaching Elvis to dance to marrying his childhood sweetheart and later raising her son when she passed away. Forrest may be a comical character but if you pay attention to the movie it shows more of a loyal and loving character. If Forrest is your friend then he's your friend for life. This may all sound corny but I reserve the right to be as corny as the next guy. 8~)
