So farmers can put a belt on to hang tools from. They really need it working on a farm! No joke, I lived in nowhere PA, surrounded by farms, I should know!

I never saw a pair of real overalls with belt loops. Must be something new.

You need belt loops to hang keys or tools on.

real overalls don't have belt loops, the loops have been added for style conscience farmers...

Most jean material are made with belts, don't know why thats just the way it is.
