No, I'm not too young to know the answer, I'm a Brit, where we don't do guns to anything like the same extent. Ironic, if true, that what my countrymen did in the C18 caused it to be written into the Constitution. Isn't it a bit outdated now, though?

Imply? No. It EXPLICITLY STATES that citizens have the right to bear arms.

What the Constitution says is that the Federal Government cannot deprive a citizen of arms. However, unlike other amendments such as the 1st or 5th, the 2nd amendment has not been applied to the states by the 14th amendment, so any individual state can make laws as restrictive as they like.

The second Amendment of the Constitution says that all citizens in the United States have a right to KEEP and BEAR ARMS, the ideaology of this amendment was fire arms (muskets and such)

Yes they say so because of the need of a to fight invading countries i guess. but that isnt much of a threat anymore

The 2ND Amendment specifically states that an individual citizen's right to own arms shall not be infringed.

I don't know how clearer that can be.

are you too young to know about the constitution? The second ammendment guarantees the people the right to bear arms. I hate that it is like that but it is!
