I can't believe it either.
He had such a strong voice.
He was right on par with, if not beyond the talent of Kelly Clarkson.
The man had soul in his gut that was utterly reflected in his music.
His voice gave me goose bumps and chills up my spine.
His voice had a certain patina about it that cannot be replicated.
He put every other singer on Idol to shame.
I can't believe he got voted off, what is it with the American public, don't they have ears?
Carrie Underwood has nothing on Sanjaya.
Man he really belted out Bonnie Raitt's song. He could probably sell more "Let's give 'em something to talk about" than she did.
I'm positive he is going to get big time offers from record studios across the world.
We will be hearing his songs well into our old age.
His slow songs could lull me to sleep every night.
Even if he were not handsome, the man has a voice that rivals even Andrea Bocelli and Placido Domingo...
I know he'll be at Carnegie Hall soon.
Julliard will be offereing him a full ride scholarship.
I've heard that they are going to put his voice on CD that will be jettisoned from the next space shuttle flight, in case intelligent life elsewhere wants to hear the greatest music on the planet.
His hair too, will receive the ultimate in kudos. His hair is scheduled to be replacated for people across the planet with new scientific technologies, so no one will be without hair, especially that beautiful Sanjaya hair.
New keyboards will have a button that will put each key into the hum of Sanjaya himself.
I have heard that he will headline next year's Grammys.
Snoop Dogg has asked him to duet with him.
Barbra Streisand wants him to be her opening act.
Okay enough rambling, if you believe this, then, well I'm sure you don't believe this.
Sanjaya you were entertaining, and I'm sure you have a future in something. God bless ya man. You held your head high and you can be proud of sticking it out.

There were too many insider leaks stating that Sanjaya was amongst the top vote getters, if not the top vote getter each week. Also, how do you go from being a top vote getter to gone in 1 week?
"Did Sanjaya Malakar have the lowest amount of votes last wednesday night? No he did not! It is funny actually because American Idol in their credits even say "they can manipulate everything they do." Sanjaya was in fact third lowest, and Lakisha was the lowest, followed by Phil in between the two. Last nights result show was as follows.
1. Melinda
2. Jordin
3. Blake
4. Chris
5. Sanjaya
6. Phil
7. Lakisha"
Bottom line - AI/Simon could not allow Sanjaya to win after VFTW claimed to have pushed commercial failure Taylor Hicks to victory so they gave Sanjaya the boot. That way, VFTW can't claim 2 Idols in a row. Oh they'll sign Sanjaya, unless bad press makes it better to release him and act surprised when he becomes a commercial success.
They gave America until "Idol Gives Back" (IGB) to give Sanjaya the boot. When he continued to survive, the producers executed their plan. This way the vote drop from pissed off Fanjayas will be buried by the IGB charity voting.
This week they'll piss off another group by drop kicking Phil, then blame the following week's vote drop on that. Or they just won't mention the vote count at all! We ALL know it's the loss of the millions of Sanjaya votes that will cause both a ratings and vote count drop.
Face it - All we have left is "Celebrity Fat Club" meets "N Suck" or as the media has named them - Whats-His-Name, What's-Her-Face & The-Other-Guy!
Sanjaya has left the building!

Sanjaya was only there so long because of his hair, and his personality. He can sing but he is not American Idol worthy. I did though fill sorry for him when he started to cry. He has a good heart and his family went through a lot of personal things being put on television, but u know it was his time.

I honestly think there must be something else behind the scenes that is keeping Sanjaya there... Perhaps an international payoff? I can't stand the fact that good people are being voted off instead of him... I thought it would be him and Sundance today for the guys. I didn't want Jarrod gone though. But with bad news comes great news... Antonella is gone!!!

That's a matter of opinion. I think of all the singers remaining, Sanjaya was the weakest. I think from here on out it's going to be really difficult.
I look for Melinda to win the whole thing.

Do you not know how American Idol works? The telephone lines are open and people call their votes in. the amount of votes for each person determine who stays. He had the least amount of votes so he had to go ,that is how the game is played. He is a good singer and he is very talented but he needs more training. He is a young man who is going to college and will get what he needs in life, he is obviously going to get offers from record labels, He didn't really lose, I don't think he was ready to be an American Idol. He was just too young, but I loved his voice. Didn't like the Bonie Rait choice though.

Sanjaya went b/c he sucked, and he shouldnt have made it as far as he did the only reason he was there this long was because beleive it or not "American" Idol actually takes global votes so people in India all voted for him.
