i need to wright a one page summary about "what is utopia"... i need it to be easy worded ... please good answers!!!!!!!

Utopia is an idealistic place, normally a community inhabited by an intelligent species. Take "Startrek" the series, for instance; the many colonies they visited in worlds different from our own, some were so perfect they were considered Utopia, and were referred as such in the program (A Startrekker saying "Have we found Utopia?") Sometimes the hereafter is portrayed as Utopia, as with the movie with Meryl Streep going on in those togas and white buses and being pursued by a man infatuated with her. They were led to an afterlife and given new assignments, some moved on. It showed the beginnings of a Utopian society. It is subjective, the thing which makes it idealistic, and the objectiveness of Utopia is a perfect existence, thank you

Utopia is perfect. Like heaven would be. It is a place of ideal
structure.
If you want to really know about utopia you should read the Giver by Lois Lowry (it should be in your school library) the book is really good and gives an amazing idea of utopia.

"Utopia" itself means "nowhere": An ideal world that doesn't exist.
If you have a couple of hours, it might be worth your time to skim (or read Cole's Notes) Thomas Moore's "Utopia", a short novel written a few hundred years ago. I think it was Moore who first coined the term "utopia". It describes his vision of Utopia. Every version of utopia afterwards is just a variation on his theme.

It's a place where people can make a difference. Everyone is constantly learning, and improving society. People are kind to one another. They all work hard and enjoy what they do. There is no money or advertising. Everything is free, and people only take what they need. There are no crimes, greed, jealousy, anger, resentment. No one needs other people’s forgiveness. People are happy.
