You think you're special, poor little boy can't park where you're suppose to, can't walk from the parking lot. Someone walking by your bike says, "Some punk parked his bike in the way". You give all riders a bad name.

Parking that way is fine if there is a nook or cranny to tuck the bike out of the way from people going in/out of the entrance. If there is no nook or cranny, parking that way is rude, selfish, and unsafe.
It's also a liability issue for the store owner. People could burn themselves on hot pipes, or the bike could tip and fall on someone, or the bike might leak oil and cause someone to slip and fall later.
Not to mention those with loud pipes would annoy the store's customers and employees.

I've had two bikes backed into in parking lots, one in the striped end zone and one in a regular parking spot. People tend to park too close to the bikes, anyhow, so when I can, I park on the sidewalk , close to the building and away from the doors.

No.
I park in the lot, like a regular vehicle.
I'm not handicapped.
I also won't do the things that I complain about the inconsiderate ones doing.

No, that's a good place to have it damaged. Just put in a parking spot.
