I saw it once-- the movie was not that great, but the audience throwing rice and reacting to the movie was hilarious.
Do they still show it at midnight in theaters anywhere anymore?

...used to play regularly, in the greater San Diego area; now, it's virtually non-existant, unless you go up as far as, perhaps L.A.
In the midst of 267 viewing of the film, at theatres from coast to coast (I'm a retired Navy vet, who in 20 years, has caught the film in San Diego, L.A., Chicago, New York, Orlando and Dallas), I have had the distinct pleasure of performing Riff-Raff (at a time when I was relatively light-weight), as well as Eddie (during my time in the Navy, when I was much more stockier).
....senior year in high school, I was challenged to play Frankenfurter, on a bet with a prize of $500; I'm ashamed to say that I wussed out!!!

Yes,they usually have "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" going on during Halloween.The times I've seen it,the audience has gotten really crazy! I just love all the characters,too funny.

It must have been late seventies I grew up in the bay area and they had this theater in Berkley where people would dress as there favorite charactor and parade around before and after the show, it was funny. I only went one time but my brother went to it for weeks. A little weird.lol

Used to go every friday night, until I moved to a wasteland where the movie isn't shown. Sure miss it! I experienced complete joy in unbridled audience participation and knowing when to scream the perfect line and execute the special fx- and ooh, the pelvic thrust really did drive me insane!

I have many many times. My local theaters have shown it a few times in the last couple of years.

a lot of theatres used to not care what you did,
but the one theatre that showed it here closed and the other refuses to show it due to the mess.

I did. In Monterey,CA. It was a blast!!! We used to go quite often. I'm sure they show it somewhere.
