Can you mix brackish fish with marine fish?

there are very few real brackish water fish that can be full marine fish. Some can be all three. you cannot convert certain brackish water (like some puffers) to full salt just like they cannot be converted to full fresh water. Mollies and guppies however can go from fresh to full salt.

Check the specific species of fish, and not just with common names, get the scientific names and do some research.

Most "true brackish water fish" cannot survive or live healthy lives in full salt.

Some brackish fish make that jump without any problems, others wouldn't do to well. It's really a matter of what species you are considering.

you might be able to, i would check with a pet store or a vet to be sure though. at first if you try it, you should watch them to see what is going to happen so you can remove one of the types if they start fighting.
